I'm not sure I've got any stories off the top of my head that can compare, but my roommate did tell me last night that she got into a conversation with a former student in which that student was unaware that the U.S. military had failed to find WMDs in Iraq. And also claimed (this was yesterday) to be "waiting until Obama picked a VP to make a decision about who to vote for."
I usually get questions about how to check stuff out of the archive.
P.s. I went back and replied to a comment you made on a post of mine a while back- I hadn't seen it til now. Do you get an email or something when someone comments on your posts? I don't any kind of notification.

That is truly appalling.
